Hiking the Grand Canyon: Thunder River to Deer Creek

Chilled to the bone, I crawled out of my tent to greet the first light of the day. Temperatures were well below freezing in the night and I slept atop six inches of snow that had just fallen. But the morning light is beautiful at the rim of the Grand Canyon. And it would surely be much warmer nearly a mile lower in elevation, where I’d be by day’s end.

Our aim is to inspire, educate and encourage outdoor adventure through the words and images of our top outdoors influencers. We help brands and destinations share their story on the top TV and streaming networks in the U.S. in a unique and impactful way.
